Florida Living Room
The client desired a space that felt comfortable, well-designed, and cohesive.
I began by decluttering the space and envisioning a layout that maximized both style and functionality. The Mid-Century Modern design principles became the guiding light, emphasizing clean lines, vibrant colors, and a harmonious blend of form and function.
A fresh coat of paint- Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore, replaced the tile flooring with vinyl hardwood, and teak baseboards were added to brighten yet warm up the space. Through the use of natural materials, warm colors, and comfortable furnishings we were able to create a cohesive and harmonious layout where every element works together to create a unified look and feel.
I kept the floor-plan simple with a few adjustments. Flipped the sectional and moved the TV to maximize walkability. Added a bench and mirror to the entryway to open the space and add extra seating.
The transformation speaks to the power of thoughtful choices and how a well-executed design can breathe new life into any space.
